Am Moving to Somerset from Southern Calif

Am going to be in Somerset for a week to close the deal on a home I am purchasing.

Am wondering what the best hotel for a single female to stay in is.

Any reccomendations for restaurants would be great too.

Can hardly wait to get out of the fast lane, and meet some nice, friendly people, and live in the land of my ancestors.

My sister in law moved to Somerset fairly recently. She seems pretty happy there- the lake is definitely a perk. For a single female, I highly recommend the Doolin House for a stay. A young husband and wife chef team run the place and the breakfasts are fabulous! Rooms are clean and reasonable and it%26#39;s convenient. Take your own bottle of vino- the city is dry. You will get much personal attention this way and no doubt many questions answered as they are ';transplants'; to the area as well and established a lovely business over the years.
