3rd of July/Waterfront Festival

Looking for some hotel reccomendations with in walking distance to this on 7/3.

The website for it only lists 1, and that one has waterfront balcony rooms. Would we be able to see the fireworks from the balcony?

Any other hotels with-in walking distance that are decent and under $200/night?

Any one that has been to this prior years? Opinions on it?

3rd of July/Waterfront Festival

Walking distance is always subjective - but within a mile or less there are a number of hotels:

21C Museum Hotel, Hyatt, Fairfield, Econolodge, Hampton, Seelbach %26amp; Brown - The Marriott line has 4:Residence, Courtyard, SpringHill Suites %26amp; a Marriott.

You%26#39;d have to specifically reserve a room with a fireworks view at the Galt House I%26#39;d think.

We%26#39;ve been to the Fireworks %26amp; Live Music show - I think it%26#39;s been going on about 10 years now - a number of times. Generally the music style is dramatically different on the two nights, but the fire works shows are basically the same on both nights. Since I%26#39;m a local I have never looked into renting a hotel for either evening.

It%26#39;s well organized.
