Besides Horse Racing...

What else is there to see and do in Louisville (and vicinity)?

Is there an historical area? If so - information about that would be useful, as well.

Again - any info about the area (restaurants/lodging, etc.) would be great, but I%26#39;m primarily interested in ';things to do'; other than horse racing activities.

Many thanks.

Please click the tab on left called ';Things to do'; . Once that page opens, you%26#39;ll see a list on the right where lots of us natives have written

to do'; lists.

That is mine. There are many things to see and do in Louisville. We have a vibrant river front, a great arts and concert scene, many beautiful parks, amazing restaurants, etc. We were on Bardstown Road in the Highlands last night having dinner at Seviche (my favorite) watching the non-stop parade of people shopping, going to movies, eating, drinking and socializing. On a beautiful night, it%26#39;s a great destination.

I%26#39;d highly recommend the Louisville Slugger Museum. If you are interested in weaponry and history, the Frazier Museum of History is excellent. The Speed Art Museum is very good
