on the 28th of jan i woke up to the worst ice storm in kentucky history,no lights no heat and a wife and kids to care for so we went to the econo lodge on lexington rd in nicholasville ky the mid-eastren man told me he had no double rooms.so i asked if he a single room,he asked how many people i told him 3 my wife and a 12 yr old girl,by this time the snow had come in and was coming down fast on top of the 3 inches of ice we got the night before,he told me he could not rent a room with one bed to a party of three,i asked him why .he said the room was to small and he couldnt do it i didnt know what to do the rooms were filling up with in 50 miles of me and the weather was not getting any better,i told him what i thought of his rule and left as he was telling me he was going to call the cops,i dont know what to say i think it is wrong to turn people away in times of need like that and all i can tell that guy is something about karma

There are laws in place to protect you in just this type of emergency

Mike, I%26#39;m really sorry to hear about that! I will write a note to them on your behalf. In the meantime, contact the Better Business Bureau and the Atty General. Most people have bent over backwards to help others. This type of behavior is horrid.
I wish you would have asked to speak with the manager and/or get his name and number so this employee could be responsible.It%26#39;s still not too late. best of luck!
