Hotels on Buena Vista...safe part of town?

Hi there,

Just wondering what anybody may know about the more inexpensive hotels listed for Buena Vista Drive in Lexington on many of the travel sites.

Other than Hollywood Hustler, is it in a safe part of town? Drug issues?

This is a safe area. On the other side of Winchester Rd is the Hamburg development. It is all pretty new and there is a lot of shopping and new residential. You can take Sir Barton Way from Winchester Rd, but you will see it because it stretches from Man O War to Winchester Rd. The main part is a lifestyle center type shopping center. On your side of Winchester Rd, there is not quite the same development, but it is certainly safe and I think there is a brand new Rite Aid, Cracker Barrel, Waffle House, Bob Evans, and several moderate / budget hotels.

Yep, agreed with the above, it is a fine area, lots of places to eat, near shopping. I wouldn%26#39;t let Hustler scare you off, it is a safe area.
