I checked the SNCF website and it seems that to travel from Lourdes to Turin (Italy), I would have to go back to Paris to catch the train to Turin. The journey needs a total of 13h10m. Does anyone know if it is possible to board the train somewhere between Lourdes, Lyon, Grenoble or Chamonix?
I have also considered flying and it too means flying from Pau or Tarbes to Paris and connecting flight to Turin. Fare is exorbitant @ Euro 814 which costs more than the SQ fare to Paris.
Would appreciate if fellow travellers can give me some good tips.
Train service from Lourdes - Turin (by-passing Paris)
You mistakenly posted this in the ';Paris, Kentucky, USA'; section. You%26#39;ll need to re-post in the ';Paris, France, Europe'; forum.

You%26#39;re definitely going to have problems taking a train from Paris, TN to Paris France!
