Heading to Mammoth area for spring break (late March) and we normally camp - but Park doesn%26#39;t take reservations (first com-first served), and driving from the upper midwest - I want to know we%26#39;ll have a place to stay when we get there! Cave City has a B%26amp;B with log cabin, etc. that looks great on their website but has got some scathing reviews by Trip Advisor members. Anyone have suggestions for clean but rustic place to stay? We have two tweens who love the outdoors.
Mammoth Cave Area for Late March-Early May
Hi, I live in the Mammoth area...only 1/4 mile from the park and I have a suggestion for you. If you like camping, consider checking out Nolin Lake State Park. It is about 10 miles from the national park. It is a small campground. Always very quiet when we go. We love it there. If you are interested I can give you more detailed info.
