Bart,
Here%26#39;s some info from a previous post.

The only other idea I have is that you could try contacting some of the local hotels to see if they have info on packages. I%26#39;d suggest you start your search with...
-The Brown Hotel
-The Seelbach
-The Galt House
Good luck!

Kentuckyderby.com also has ';hospitality packages.';
y husband and I have taken the Kentucky Derby trip twice: in 2003 and 2006. Both times we stayed at the Hampton Inn near the Fairgrounds/Expo, I believe there was a 3 or 4 night minimum. We always like to check out the track at least the day or two before the Oaks, watch the morning workouts, go to some of the pre-Derby events. You%26#39;ll also want to take time to visit the Derby Museum.
The Hampton Inn has a free breakfast bar, great staff, plus quite a few of the horseracing media and a few jockeys stayed there. There is no restaurant for sit down dinner, but you can walk or a very short drive over to the other two or three hotels along the stretch, which have restaurants and bars.
The Hampton Inn offers a shuttle to Papa John Stadium, and you can either walk to Churchill Downs from there or you can take a bus. We prefer the walk, it is fun to check out the local color, plus the wait for the bus after the Derby can take forever! I think we may have taken the shuttle on KY Oaks day also, definately less crowded than Derby Day and the hotel will get you right up to Churchill on Oaks Day.
We have bought our tix both times on E-Bay from the same vendor and have been happy with our seats. Dress fashionably, yet comfortably!
This past year we went to downtown Louisville (2 days before the Derby?) for the post position Derby draw. That was fun. There are several good restaurants, and it was a fairly easy drive from the Hampton Inn.
Side trips: Kentucky Horse Park near Lexington, tour a few of the bourbon distilleries (we did Buffalo Trace %26amp; Woodford Reserve), scenice drive through Lexington/Versailles area. Our favorite place to stay in the Lexington area is the Beaumont Inn, which is actually in Harrodsburg.
Have a great time!
